Major user enhancements for Sage 50 Accounts 2012

July 22nd, 2011

As a Sage Partner we have seen a preview of the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts and think that some of the features introduced will bring  vast improvement in customer experience for existing users.

Users of Sage 50 Accounts on a network, will know that sometimes Sage can prevent users from working when other users on the network are accessing certain files. This combined with a large volume of transactions in the system can sometimes mean delays whilst the Sage software to responds to commands.

Sage have changed the way that files are handled in a multi-user environment meaning that users will no longer experience “waiting to open file” messages  and that a request to view a screen that have may have thousands of transactions to list will be generated in seconds rather than minutes.

The second major development for Sage 50 Accounts 2012 allows users to view the information from your Sage accounts programme on your Apple or Blackberry mobile phone.

Imagine being with your bank manager and being able to have all your key financial information in the palm of your hand or being out at a customers and being able to tell instantly exactly how much money they owed or what they last placed an order for and at what price.

These are just a couple of examples of how having your Sage information on your phone could really benefit your working day.

Sage 50 mobile is completely free of charge but only works with the latest version of Sage 50 Accounts.

To discuss upgrading your current software please contact Keilor or Matt on 0300 303 8180
